Atmospheric teleconnections responsible for the dominant patterns of interannual variability in summer drought over northern Asia

Abstract Summer drought over northern Asia (NA) seriously threatens the local fragile ecological environment and social economy development. In this study, using the standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index (SPEI), we firstly identify the dominant modes of interannual variability in summer drought condition over NA, and then explore the atmospheric patterns responsible for the formation of the modes. The results show that the first empirical orthogonal function mode (EOF1) of summer SPEI over NA exhibits a meridional dipole pattern, which is influenced primarily by the Polar–Eurasian teleconnection (POL) and Circumglobal teleconnection (CGT) patterns. Under the influence of negative POL and positive CGT patterns, there is an anomalous anticyclone (cyclone) over northwestern Siberia (Lake Baikal to Northeast China). Such atmospheric circulations lead to meridional dipole patterns in air temperature, moisture condition, vertical motion, and cloud cover over NA, favoring decreased (increased) precipitation and increased (decreased) potential evapotranspiration over northern (southern) NA, finally contributing to the formation of EOF1. The EOF2 shows an approximate zonal dipole pattern, which is influenced by the British-Baikal Corridor (BBC) and Scandinavia teleconnection (SCA) patterns. The positive BBC and SCA patterns can lead to an anomalous anticyclone over the Ural Mountains and cyclone over the Lake Baikal. Such atmospheric circulations result in a zonal dipole pattern in precipitation and potential evapotranspiration over NA through changing the local moisture condition, air temperature, and radiation, consequently favoring the formation of EOF2. Fitting analysis indicates that the aforementioned atmospheric factors can explain 76% (55%) of the interannual variability of EOF1 (EOF2).

Study on the Coordinated Development Model of Ecological Economy and Environmental Protection

This paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system of the ecological environment and the economy, and the coupling degrees and coordination degrees from 2015 to 2019 are calculated. The results show that (1) There is a relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution. Discharging industrial pollutants is an important factor affecting the coordinated development of the ecological environment and economic coupling. (2) The comprehensive evaluation index of the ecological environment and economic development systems is increasing yearly, and the quality of the ecological environment and the level of economic development are constantly improving. (3) The value of the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between ecological environment and economic development is increasing yearly, and the development trend is good. The coupling degree gradually shifts from low-level coupling to high-level coupling stage.

Development of Low-Carbon Finance Helps the Construction of China's Low-Carbon Financial Legal System

The massive consumption of coal, oil and other resources has led to a significant increase in greenhouse gas emissions and global warming, seriously threatening the ecological environment. Achieving low-carbon development has become a common goal pursued by all countries. On this basis, China has put forward the goals of carbon peaking by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. The best way to solve this problem is to promote low-carbon finance. Low energy consumption and low pollution have become the core of green economic development, which reasonably improves the status quo of serious environmental pollution and promotes the realisation of high-quality development of the social economy. Since the 19th National Congress, China's economic development has shifted from high-speed growth to the development stage of high-quality growth, and this shift not only requires sustained and stable economic growth, but also emphasises the protection of the ecological environment and sustainable development. The development of low-carbon economy not only helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the ecological environment, but also promotes the optimisation and upgrading of the economic structure, achieving a win-win situation for the economy and the environment. However, the healthy development of low-carbon economy needs strong institutional guarantee. In particular, the improvement of the low carbon financial legal system.

Breaking the poverty trap in an ecologically fragile region through ecological engineering: A close-up look at long-term changes in ecosystem services

Ecological vulnerability and poverty are interrelated and must be addressed together. The resolution of this issue will help us to meet the challenges during the process of implementing concrete actions for realizing the 2030 UN sustainable development goals (SDGs). Ecological restoration projects (ERPs) can enhance ecosystem services (ESs) while providing policy support for improving people's livelihoods. However, processes and mechanisms of ERPs on the ecological environment and socioeconomic development in poverty-stricken and ecologically fragile areas have rarely been studied. To address these issues, we conducted a comparative analysis on the changes of land use and land cover (LULC), ecosystem services (ESs), and socioeconomic development in Bijie City, a karst rocky desertification area in southwest China, before and after the implementation of ERPs in 2000, as well as the complex relationship between these factors. ERPs have affected LULCs, ESs, socioeconomics, and poverty reduction significantly since 2000. Specifically, the total ecosystem service value (ESV) in the study area has increased by more than 3 times in the past 30 years, with the ESV of tourism services and carbon storage increasing the most, from CNY 0.001 and 337.07 billion in 1990 to CNY 11.07 and 108.97 billion in 2019, respectively. The correlation between ESs is mainly synergistic, while the tradeoff between carbon storage and water yield is in a fluctuating upward trend. LULC conversion of cropland to green, and cropland to water, wetland and shrubs has positive effects on carbon storage and water yield, respectively. During study period, GDP, urbanization increased by over 70 times, 5 times, respectively, whereas poverty population, poverty incidence, and employment rate of various sectors (i.e., agriculture, forest, animal, and fishery, or AFAF) decreased by 96.4%, 97.7%, and 18.24%, respectively. Our findings emphasized that ERPs can effectively help poor and ecologically fragile areas to get out of the poverty trap and achieve the “win-win” goals of ecological and socio-economic sustainable development. These results have profound environmental management references to China and other developing countries around the world in realizing ecological restoration, poverty reduction, and the SDGs.

Resource and environmental carrying capacity study of Kubai Coalfield in Xinjiang based on RS and GIS

The study of resource and environmental carrying capacity (RECC) is critical to the ecological environmental protection and sustainable development of mining areas. Using multi-source remote sensing data such as Landsat5 and Landsat8, as well as socioeconomic statistics, the impact mechanism of the Kubai Coalfield's RECC was analyzed using the theory of Driving-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR), and a three-level evaluation index system of 1-5-18 was proposed. The cloud model enhanced Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to estimate the weight value of each assessment index. The Kubai Coalfield's RECC was calculated by superimposing the weights of different variables, and the contributing elements and changing trends of the RECC were investigated. The RECC of the Kubai Coalfield is highest in the east, second highest in the west, and lowest in the center, according to the results. The vegetation cover of the mining area has a direct impact on the RECC, and mining activity is the primary cause of the change in carrying capacity; however, coal mining has a lagging effect on the RECC. The study's findings serve as a guide for the quantitative assessment of RECC of Xinjiang's environmentally vulnerable mining sites and offer theoretical justification for the approach taken in the study of RECC of mining areas and the preservation of ecological environment sources.

Investigations on Driving Factors of Coordination Development of Rural Infrastructure and Ecological Environment: The Case of Western China

The coordinated development of rural infrastructure and ecological environment is an effective way to improve agricultural productivity. The primary focus of the current research is how the two can work together to promote regional economic development in rural areas and in related fields. This study takes the western region as the research object, constructs an evaluation index system for rural infrastructure and ecological environment, and uses the Min-max Scaling method, coupling coordination model, gray GM (1, 1) model, and standard deviation elliptical model for evaluation. The trends and driving factors for the coordinated development of rural infrastructure and ecological coupling in the region from 2012 to 2021 are analyzed. The main results are as follows: (1) Except for Tibet, Qinghai, and Ningxia, the coupling degree of rural infrastructure and the ecological environment in western China reached the maximum level during the research period, also the coordination degree showed a gradual upward trend. (2) A prediction for the development and evolution of rural infrastructure and the ecological environment in western China indicates a trend of agglomerative development in the southern region. (3) By strengthening the construction of reservoirs, improving sanitary conditions, improving cultivated land use area and forest coverage, and controlling soil erosion, the coordinated development of the two can be effectively promoted. The purpose of this study is to promote the sustainable and coordinated development of rural infrastructure and ecological environment, and to provide a reference for policy formulation in the relevant sectors and other countries and regions with similar situations.

Optimizing Typha biochar with phosphoric acid modification and ferric chloride impregnation for hexavalent chromium remediation in water and soil

Considering the persistent and covert nature of heavy metal soil contamination, the sustainable development of ecological environments and food safety is at significant risk. Our study focuses on remediating soils contaminated with chromium (Cr); we introduce an advanced remediation material, iron oxide phosphoric acid-loaded activated biochar (HFBC), synthesized through pyrolysis. This HFBC displays greater microporosity, fewer impurities, and enhanced efficiency for the remediation process. Our research utilized a comprehensive set of analytical techniques, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), alongside adsorption studies to elucidate the Cr removal mechanism. The effectiveness of HFBC in remediation was influenced by several factors: the pH level, dosage of HFBC, the initial concentration of Cr, and the ambient temperature. Our results indicated an optimal chromium (VI) adsorption capacity of 55.5 mg/g by HFBC at a pH of 6.0 and a temperature of 25 °C, with the process adhering to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, thus suggesting spontaneity in the uptake method. Moreover, this mechanism encompasses both adsorption and reduction reactions. Using HFBC in pot experiments with cabbage indicated not only an increase in soil pH and cation exchange capacity (CEC), but also a surge in bacterial community abundance. Significant reductions in bioavailable chromium were also recorded. Interestingly, HFBC addition bolstered the growth of cabbage, while concurrently diminishing chromium accumulation within the plant, particularly notable as the HFBC application rate increased. In summation, the HFBC produced in our study has demonstrated convincing efficacy in removing chromium from aqueous solutions and soil. Moreover, the positive agronomic implications of its use, such as enhanced plant growth and reduced heavy metal uptake by plants, indicate its high potential for operational value in the domain of environmental remediation of heavy metals.

Thermogravimetric analysis of co-combustion characteristics of sewage sludge and bamboo scraps combined with artificial neural networks

The increasing amount of sludge resources has brought great challenges to the ecological environment and sustainable development. Co-combustion of low calorific value sewage sludge and biosolid waste has become a new and effective way to treat sludge. The co-combustion characteristics of sewage sludge and bamboo scraps in air were studied by thermogravimetric mass spectrometry and artificial neural network. The thermogravimetric analysis of combustion at three different heating rates was performed with five different mixing ratios. Through comprehensive combustion index and cooperative analysis, it is concluded that the co-burning effect and cooperative effect of sludge and bamboo are better. Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose were used to calculate the apparent activation energy. The average activation energy of the sludge mixed with 75% bamboo scraps was the lowest (126.3 kJ mol−1) under the co-combustion condition. The ion current of combustion gas products during combustion was studied by mass spectrometry. Co-combustion can increase NOx and reduce SO2, and 75% bamboo slag mixed sludge has the least gas production. Finally, the prediction model of sludge co-combustion is established by artificial neural network, which provides a prospective guidance for the resource utilization of solid waste.

Research on out-of-sample prediction method of water quality parameters based on dual-attention mechanism

Predicting water quality data is an important measure for ecological environment protection in watersheds. Aiming at the problem that existing prediction algorithms rarely analyze the characteristics of future changes in water quality indicators, this paper proposes an out-of-sample prediction model for water quality parameters based on the dual-attention mechanism. The model adopts the Encoder-Decoder architecture to realize the prediction of data series, and combines the dual attention of dimension and time step to improve the prediction performance of out-of-sample data. The model is used to predict the water quality parameters of a multi-parameter river, analyze the trend of the out-of-sample data, and compare the prediction results with the traditional LSTM network and Encoder-Decoder LSTM network, the prediction accuracies of the water quality indicators are improved, and the prediction accuracy of the out-of-sample data of the water quality indicators reaches 80%. This will be of great significance to the comprehensive management of river waters and the high-quality development of ecological environment.

Covalently construction of C-GSH-AuNCs@UiO-66-NH2 composites as an efficient turn-on fluorescence sensor for UO22+

Due to the continuous expansion of the nuclear power industry, the exploitation of uranium resources has led to the discharge of large quantities of uranium-rich wastewater into the environment, which poses a major threat to the environment and human health. Rapid detection of uranium in water bodies is of great significance for early warning of uranium contamination in the environment, safe discharge and real-time regulation of nuclear waste, and sustainable development of energy and ecological environment. Herein, we report a new “turn-on” fluorescent sensor for the detection of UO22+ in aqueous solutions. The fluorescent sensor was obtained by covalently bonding UiO-66-NH2 with gold nanoclusters GSH-AuNCs and showed a sensitive fluorescence enhancement response to UO22+ at low solid-liquid ratio, with a detection limit of 15.3 nmol L−1. With the advantages of intuitive visual detection, reusability and easy separation, the sensitive fluorescence sensor has great potential for the detection of UO22+ in aqueous solutions.

[Ecological Environment Assessment and Driving Mechanism Analysis of Nagqu and Amdo Sections of Qinghai-Xizang Highway Based on Improved Remote Sensing Ecological Index].

The ecological environment along the Qinghai-Xizang highway is an important part of the construction of the ecological civilization in the Xizang region, and current research generally suffers from difficulties in data acquisition, low timeliness, and failure to consider the unique "alpine saline" environmental conditions in the study area due to the unique geographical environment of the Qinghai-Xizang plateau. Based on the GEE platform and the unique geographical environment of the study area, the remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) was improved, and a new saline remote sensing ecological index (SRSEI) applicable to the alpine saline region was constructed by using principal component analysis as an ecological environment quality evaluation index. The spatial distribution pattern and temporal variation trend of ecological environment quality along the Qinghai-Xizang Highway Nagqu-Amdo section were analyzed at multiple spatial and temporal scales using the ArcGIS 10.3 platform and geographic probes, and the driving mechanisms of eight control factors, including natural and human-made, on the spatial and temporal changes in SRSEI were investigated. The results showed that:① compared with RSEI, SRSEI was more sensitive to vegetation and had a stronger discriminatory ability in areas with sparse vegetation and severe salinization, which is suitable for ecological quality evaluation in alpine saline areas. ② The spatial scale of ecological environment quality in the study area had obvious geographical differentiation, and the areas with poor ecological quality were mainly concentrated in the northern Amdo County, whereas the areas with excellent and good quality grades were mainly distributed in the central-western and southeastern Nagqu areas. On the temporal scale, the ecological environment of the study area as a whole showed an improvement trend over 32 years, and the vegetation cover in the central-western and southeastern areas increased significantly, which had a strong improvement effect on the ecological environment. The improvement area was 1 425.98 km2, accounting for 99.82%. The mean value of SRSEI was 0.49, with an overall fluctuating upward trend and an average increase of 0.015 7 a-1. ③ The land use pattern was the most driving influence factor in the change of ecological environment quality in the study area, with an average q value of 0.157 6 over multiple years, and the influence of environmental factors was low. The multi-factor interaction results showed that the ecological environment in the study area was the result of multiple factors acting together, all factors had synergistic enhancement under the interaction, the influence of human factors was gradually increasing, and the interaction of the net primary productivity (NPP) of vegetation and land use pattern was the main interactive control factor of ecological environment quality in the study area. This study can provide a theoretical basis for ecological environmental protection and sustainable development along the Nagqu to Amdo section.

The coupling relationship between marine industry agglomeration and ecological environment system from the perspective of ecological environment

To analyze the coupling relationship in marine industry agglomeration and ecological environment system, this study used the formula of location entropy coefficient for measuring the development agglomeration status of marine industry. Meanwhile, it also separately measures the degree of agglomeration of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in the ocean to reveal their degree of agglomeration in the region. In addition, a coupled correlation analysis model was designed. It uses grey relational analysis to reveal the relationships between data series in situations of insufficient data. Finally, a coupled coordination evaluation model was proposed. It evaluates the coupling status between the marine industry cluster and the ecological environment by calculating the capacity coupling coefficient, coupling degree, and coupling co scheduling. The results show that from 2013 to 2022, the agglomeration trend of the marine industry in Jiaodong Peninsula Province has undergone different changes. The location entropy coefficient of the primary industry increased from 1.3047 to 1.0987, while the location entropy coefficient of the secondary industry gradually increased from 0.2486 to 1.1141. The coupling coordination degree R between the marine industry agglomeration system and the ecological environment system has increased from 0.3986 to 0.6253. From 2018 to 2022, the coupling between the marine industry and ecological environment development has increased, gradually moving towards stability and coordination. This indicates that over the past decade, the development of the marine industry in Jiaodong Peninsula Province has placed greater emphasis on ecological protection, and has formed a positive interaction, promoting the coordinated development.

Evaluation on the willingness of migrants and native farmers to transfer farmland in resettlement areas and their coupled coordination relationships: perspectives for environmental and social sustainability

The construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects often involves substantial land acquisition and resettlement. Land is a crucial means of production, playing a significant role in ensuring food security and protecting the ecological environment and social development. However, the advancement of urbanization and changes in production methods have led to a noticeable shift in the behavior of farmers on lands. Abandoned land and reclaimed wasteland in host resettlement areas lead to low land-use efficiency, environmental degradation, and frequent geological disasters. It is important to evaluate the willingness of migrants and native farmers to transfer farmland in the resettlement area and their coupled coordination relationships to realize effective land use. These were evaluated in this study by constructing an index system from personal and family characteristics, land resource endowment, characteristics of the external policy environment, and psycho–cognitive characteristics. The results showed that their coupling degree was 0.999, while their coupling degree of coordination was 0.68. The relative development degree was 1.01. It showed that a strong correlation existed between the willingness of migrants and native farmers, and they were in a basic coordination phase. They influenced each other and reached a basic balanced state. Farmland can be transferred between migrants and native farmers to improve their livelihood, resettle migrants, improve land-use efficiency, and reduce wasteland reclamation. This suggested the possibility of establishing a land transfer resettlement model based on the willingness of migrants and native farmers to achieve environmental and social sustainability in the resettlement area.

Facile synthesis of sub-10 nm Cu-MOF nanofibers as electrochemical sensor element for picomolar chloramphenicol detection

Precise detection of antibiotics in aquatic environments is significant for human health and ecological environment development due to the excessive use of antibiotics. However, the accurate detection of ultralow-level antibiotics, such as picomolar level, has always been an extremely challenging task. Herein, we synthesized the sub-10 nm copper-based metal–organic framework nanofibers (Cu-MOF NFs) with a large specific area and high conductivity for achieving the electrochemical detection of picomolar-level chloramphenicol (CAP) in real water samples. As a result, by optimization of synthesis time and detection conditions, Cu-MOF NFs with a diameter of about 5 nm exhibited the ultralow limit of detection with 0.03 pM and wide detection range with 0.1––1.0 × 106 pM for CAP detection, as well as the designed sensor electrode has the excellent specificity, reproducibility, and stability. Importantly, the prepared sensor electrode exhibits reliable analytical results for CAP in real water samples, such as tap water, bottled water, and milk, indicating that designed sensor electrode has great application potential for the precise detection of antibiotics in practical samples.

The coordinated evolution of ecological environment, public service, and tourism economy along the Silk Road Economic Belt, using the Dual-Carbon Targets

Carbon peak and carbon neutrality (dual-carbon) are important targets for the international response to climate change. The Silk Road Economic Belt is a strategic resource region and is important for future ecological environment and tourism development. Based on the “dual-carbon” targets, the Single index quantification, Multiple index synthesis, and Poly-criteria integration evaluation model were used in this study to measure the coordinated development index of the ecological environment, public service, and tourism economy along the Silk Road Economic Belt and to analyze its spatial and temporal evolution. Further, it explores the dynamic evolution and development trend of the three systems using the Kernel Density and Grey Markov Prediction Model. The results show that the coordinated development index along this region needs to be improved during the study period. Furthermore, the coordinated development index of the Southwest region is relatively higher than that of the Northwest region. From the development trend of the three systems, all of them develop in a stable manner; however, the tourism economy system is easily affected by external disturbances. The coordinated development index of the three systems changes dynamically and tends to be in a good state of coordination. There is a certain spatial and temporal heterogeneity. The gravity center of the coordinated development index has been in the Southwest region. During the forecast period, the coordinated development index along this region will improve significantly, while insufficient and unbalanced development will continue.

Study on the coupling coordination effect and dynamic relationship between tourism development and the ecological environment: a case study of Hainan Island

As a Free Trade Port in China, the protection of ecological environment and high-quality tourism development on Hainan Island have become a national strategy. Exploring the coupling relationship of the two subsystems holds great practical significance for promoting the island’s international demonstration area and high-quality development. Based on the characteristics of international islands, a comprehensive index system is established to explore the coupling coordination evolutionary process and interactive stress relationship of tourism development and the ecological environment in Hainan Island from 2005 to 2020. The results show: (1) From 2005 to 2019, the comprehensive evaluation index of the two subsystems of Hainan Island generally showed a continuous growth trend. (2) From 2005 to 2019, the coupling degree of the two subsystems of Hainan Island strengthened continuously, the coupling coordination degree increased steadily from a moderate imbalance to good coordination, and tourism development and the ecological environment entered a stage of parallel and benign interactive development. (3) In 2020, affected by COVID-19, the tourism development indicators declined rapidly, while the ecological environment still maintained a rising trend. (4) Based on the inverted U-shaped curve model, when the tourism development index reaches 0.7269, the ecological environment quality reaches the maximum value of 0.7956, which is the best state between the two subsystems. The ecological environment and tourism development of Hainan Island are generally in a benign interaction, but there are signs of interactive stress starting in 2017. In the future, the pressure on the ecological environment of Hainan Island will increase.

Does the South-to-North Water Diversion Project promote the growth of enterprises above designated size in the water-receiving areas?-Evidence from 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China.

The South-to-North Water Diversion Project (SNWDP) is believed to drive the next phase of sustainable productivity growth, meeting growing water demand, so as to address increasing environmental sustainability challenges. The Middle Route of SNWDP is regarded as an extremely large long-distance inter-basin water diversion project, which has benefited Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and Beijing since 2014 with great sustainable changes to the cities, groundwater, ecological environment, industrial structure and social development of the beneficiary areas. Taking the number of industrial enterprises above designated size (IEDS) in the water-receiving areas as the research object, this paper takes the year of policy implementation 2014 as the basic time point, evaluating the change of the number of IEDS in the beneficiary areas of the Middle Route of SNWDP through difference-in-difference model. The results show that: (1) The Middle Route of SNWDP promotes the additional growth of the number of IEDS in the beneficiary areas. (2) When the Middle Route of SNWDP promotes the growth of the number of IEDS in beneficiary areas, there is no regional difference for regions with different development levels. (3) The reasons why the Middle Route of SNWDP contributes to the additional growth of the number of IEDS are composed of promoting mixed ownership reform of enterprises in beneficiary areas, increasing water supply and increasing population. However, the Middle Route of SNWDP has not had a significant impact on the traditional total factor productivity or the components of production factors, technology and capital. From the final outcome, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project has played a facilitating role in the sustainable development of large-scale enterprises in the water-receiving areas.

Study on International Logistics Service Trade and Sustainable Development of Ecological Environment

How to transform and upgrade the traditional transport service trade into a modern logistics service trade is of great significance for studying the coordinated development of logistics service trade and ecological environment. This paper analyzes the export structure of service trade and the export trend of logistics service of ten major countries in the world. According to the analysis results, the evaluation index system of the coordination degree of the logistics service trade-ecological environment complex system was constructed and used to analyze the coordinated development type and level of the coordinated development of the logistics service trade and the ecological environment in each country. The results showed that the coordination degree of the logistics service trade-ecological environment complex system of various countries has shown a spiral development trend. This paper provides a theoretical basis for calculating the degree of coordination between regional logistics service trade and the ecological environment.

Coupling Relationship between Urbanization and Green Total Factor Productivity in the Context of Population Shrinkage: Evidence from the Rust Belt Region of China

Northeast China, regarded as China’s Rust Belt, has been dealing with numerous issues related to societal transformation and ecological concerns. Data indicate that Northeast China has already become the most severely depopulated region. It is crucial for the region’s sustainable growth to figure out how to balance ecological and urban development in the face of population shrinkage. First, we measured the population shrinkage, urbanization, and green total factor productivity (GTFP) of each city. Second, we calculated the degree of coordination between urbanization and GTFP and spatially visualized it. Finally, we analyzed the influencing factors through further empirical evidence. The findings showed that Northeast China’s cities were generally becoming smaller in terms of population. Urbanization and GTFP both exhibited a climbing tendency, and overall coordination between the two grew gradually. The level of coordination declined as population shrinkage increased. Governmental, technological, and economic factors influenced the level of coordination. The role played by factors influencing coordinated development varied at different levels of shrinkage. The findings not only provide a new research perspective for understanding the coordinated development of socioeconomic and ecological environment in Northeast China, but also provide insights for further improving the relevant policies and promoting the sustainable development and transformation of the region.
